Hey this is on a 550 seca. On both of my 550 maxims they have a tab on the fork. You can see it missing in the pic. Not sure if it's supposed to be there on the seca or if it's just missing. If it's missing is this a problem?

    Thanks

The tab is there. Your speedometer drive is rotated 90º from where it should be. The slot faces up, not forward.

I see said the blind man. Thanks. I've really had no time for this bike yet but something looked like it was off.

If you have time. Clean and lube the speedo drive. Just might save you a headache in the future.

I plan on cleaning and lubing everything before I start riding this bike.

Got it. Thanks for the replies.
