Is there a differencw between a 550h and a 550rh wire harnes

    I notice that the part numbers are almost the same. The only difference is the first 3 in the p/n, 4u8 for the Seca, and 5k5 for the Maxim.

    Will a Maxim wire harness work on a Seca?

    It's close, but not exactly the same. Although, it came be made to work.

    If you don't have one yet, get a Clymer's manual. There are wiring diagrams in the back that will show the differences.

    Those diagrams really helped me out when I swapped the Seca instrment cluster for one off a Maxim.

    I just got the Yamaha manual. I think I'll get the Clymer, also.
