A question for all the aussie XJers. Does anyone have a locally available alternative to Pinesol for soaking carb bodies?
From what I read on the forum it's magical stuff, but I haven't found a local source for it. I have to say it sounds preferable to lemon juice (which is also hard to get in large quantities around here).
    So.....ideas anyone?

    This what I've found:

I usually use pine sol or some type of heavy duty floor cleaner. These usually contain chemicals called petroleum distillates and morpholines. These chemicals are cause pollution when dumped in our water supply and when ingested by wildlife, are stored in the fatty tissue of animals, sometimes leading to toxic levels of the chemicals. The green alternative is using a fourth of a cup of white vinegar per each quart of water.

Now whether the "green alternative" is comparably suitable on carbs, I don't really know...

    Why not carb cleaner?
