    Owners workshop manual.
    From Haynes.
I was just wondering because I picked one up on ebay the other day and I hope its worth the money.

It's pretty good - I've got one too, excellent resource - almost as good as this site or the email list guys. It's a little more in depth than the factory manual actually, but beware - there are errors here and there that you need to know how to spot... things like the carb jets being labelled incorrectly (big issue).

    Definately worth the money.

I've used mine for 15 years without a problem. Of course I did write the original jetting information in the margin but otherwise, it is a worthwhile investment.

That the book you need if you don't have the Factory Workshop Manual.

Just keep in mind ... that when you are referring to the text of the Haynes Manual whilst re-assembling the air jets in the top-end of cleaned carbs ... it's a Craps-Shoot they're going-in right.

Some Haynes Books reversed the order of where the large and small air jets ought to be.

But, in here ... we know they messed it up. So, we mark 'em.

I have this manual, but haven't reached that stage of disassembly yet. Could some of the wiser mech-guys give a specific heads up on what page this error is on and what the order should be... ? I would like to put it in my version so I don't forget it when I get there...

The haynes manual is mediocre at best.. it misses/glosses over as much stuff as it covers.. but for $20 new it's fair value for money.
These are downloadable as PDF's online if one looks around.
