Jet size and exhaust

    Just put a 4 into 1 mac on the bike. Nichie cycle say's I won't have to change the jets. If I have to, what size jets ? Thanks

    You can look for this information by the carburetor section in Chacals XJ4ever parts lists. Click on the vendor section at the top of the lists of forums and you will go right to parts. When you get to Hatachi carb parts you'll find all the info you'll need for jetting.

    I got an XJ 900 in a 650 frame. When I got the motor it had a 4 into 1 Jardine exhaust pipe. Info I read said two sizes up which I think the original PO did. The bike had no top=end. After fighting with this animal for weeks I ended up with stock jetting & just opening the pilot screws 1/2 turn more out (2.5 turns to 3), Cant wait till mornin. 40 miles to work on a bike that is corrected. Blistering fast!!!!!
