Just changed my gas cap gasket

    The old one was hard as a rock. It took 1/2 an hour. 5 minutes for the gasket and 25 minutes finding the screw I dropped! :roll:

    I figured it was a good idea to do it before I pull the tank off to put in the in line fuel filter.

    Sounds like me - I lose stuff all the time even when I'm trying to be extra careful. My wife has a knack in coming out and locating it for me in a few seconds.

    Speaking of dropping things, I remember my Grandpa pulling the carb off his old GMC grain truck for a rebuild. He spread a sheet out on the floor and put the carb on it and started to tear it apart. I asked him why he did it there. He said, "Can't drop nothing from here."

    Wise, wise man he was!!
