Well, after having it sit in my driveway since March I finally got rid of my compressor. I guy in town traded me a 1971 CB750K for it. The bike has about 25,000 miles but is complete with a Michigan title. The battery and wiring system need a thorough going over, but with a car battery we got it to jump start and idle. I figure this is a pretty cool classic, even though it has aftermarket headers with no muffler and a Vetter Fairing that came with it. Any opinions on the bike? should I clean it up a bit and sell it or would this be one I should keep for a while? Anyone want a Vetter fairing and hard trunk with sissy bar? I'll get some pics soon.

Trunk and sissy, please ... dibs.

Only if it will fit a 750 Max, though!

Not sure if it fits an XJ. The PO actually made wooden lifts to get the fairing to fit. I'll get pictures of the fairing and sissy bar when I get pics of the bike.

    Thank you anyway.
    But, I'll pass.

I couldn't get myself to live with a Disney-ed-up fit.
I need it to be right.

    Thank you.
    But5, No thank you.

Great deal! That bike would be worth a small fortune over here, easily $2,000+ especially for a early low milage one like yours!

Why don''t these people invest in their Rides ... rather than get rid of them Cheap.

They gotta be NON-Wrenching Class and the rehab Labor Costs are through the roof!

Well, I'm definitely going to keep the bike, but won't be able to begin any serious work until the XJ is fully operational. I'm having issues resizing the pics but will work on it.

    RickCoMatic,
Was the last comment about the guy from whom I got the cycle? I agree, it is hard to understand, especially when I can see the potential in a bike that has been sitting for a while and hasn't been cared for or maintained. It's gotta be a perception/ mental approach thing. My fiance is coming around to my view on things like this. Makes getting and keeping project bikes a little easier.
