Well I was given this bike for nothing. My cousin thought it was never going to run again(sat for 5 years or something like that) and just figured I could use it for something. Needless to say I got her up and running within a few days of cleaning and maintenance items like engine/fork/brake fluids changed...new plugs, carbs cleaned..tank cleaned, new air filter..and everything else in between cleaned and greased. all that is left now is to finish tuning it and ride it! The way she sits she will pull a wheelie no problem! I had it up for sale but I am thinking I am just going to keep it. As ugly as it is it just keeps growing on me. A friend of mine has Honda CX500 and we figured it would be cool to ride some classic bikes around for a change. and here she is. BTW she only has 10k on the clock.

hey... fully the fairing off, you'll like it alot better

and why does Ducati still make their bikes look like mike hailwood's racers?

I like the fairing, but it doesn't go with the Maxim's style.

Definitely would look better without it.

I have to agree the fairing is a must...querky and kind of cool in its own way. I would have never thought that these bike would be so much fun to ride. It is no sportbike but you can flick this thing sooo easily.I am thinking my next mods will have to be suspension..if I can find them springs and spacers to set the sag and different fork oil..the rear I am thinking of fitting atv/dirtbike shocks which would give me alot of room to adjust and respring. The sportbike guy in me is coming out!
