ok so ive fully restored my bike 82 xj650, i put L.E.Ds for the turn signals on,i have purched 2 load eq's before i add the EQ's all the blinkers come on and do not blink, but then when i add the eq to the + side of each blinker in the rear they will come on seperatly but still not blink, so im thinking the load is not enought, the load says its at 50% so I'am going to the part store and try a lighter relay. plz any input would be awesome ty..

Scrap the load resistors and buy a electronic flasher. Get one that is made for LED lights, it will have a 3rd wird for ground you will have to hook up.

A 3 prong flasher will not work.
    Most 80's Yamahas have a 3 prong flasher with terminals marked B, C ,L.
    B - battery +
    C - auto cancel function
    L - lamps
Look at the female plug where the flasher goes, the B and L are 90 deg from each other. A 2 prong flasher will plug in there and work. You will lose the auto cancal function unless the new flasher is modified. Not a hard modification it is basicly adding a relay powered from the C terminal to break power from the B terminal to the flasher. Radio Shack has small 12V relays that can be made to do this.
I used the OEM flasher and put the new flasher and relay inside. Still looks original.
