Found a sweeeet deal on craigslist! The two bikes came mostly together, missing odds and ends here and there, but came with LOADS of extra parts. Extra seats, luggage racks, two sets of carbs, side covers, extra engine, extra pistons, a sweet gorilla box, sissy bars and back rests etc etc. All for $700!!!! Granted.. ALL the parts arent in awesome shape, but I think I could turn this bad boy into a rat rod or something. Keep it stock but keep it simple. But anyways, very excited for a winter project
Both bikes came with titles and keys :)
Anyone know a little bout these bikes or know where to get parts?

Go to XS11.com they have a lot of info about these bikes and andreashweiss Sells parts or ebay.

Some of the parts are the same as the XJ1100 so you might be able to get them from Chacal

Looks like you got a standard and a special. Great find. I got two XS1100's by traiding my XJ750 last spring. After fixing bent valves(my own mistake) and six months of work I now have the 78 on the road. The 80 Special will become my winter project.

Nice find, looks like you got one of each. A XS11 Special and a XS11 Standard. Do you think you night have a extea exhaust system to get rid of?

Cool! Didnt know it was a special. Thats very exciting! I cant wait to but this thing back together! There are so many parts for this bike I can make a chopper AND a restoration.
Unfortunatly no, there is not an extra exhaust system.. Sorry Mlew!
Thanks for the info tcoop! I'll look into it

Are you srue the one in the pic is a 80XS. The rear light and brake rotor are from a 79. The 80 light is up higher on the fender and a 80 rotor will have slots in it.
Look in my pic gallery at my 80 XS11 to see a 80 light, the rotore are slotted but hard to see.

The Special looks like a '79. 160mph speedo, no slotted rotos as Mlew stated
The Standard could be an '80. 85mph speedo.
