Well, I treated the inside of the tank and got all the Bondo'ing done that I was gonna do so I figured I'd spray some parts while I was feeling inspired. All parts were primed (Walmart colorplace primer), basecoat (Rustoleum Flat Khacki Camo), and covered in mesh laundry bag then sprayed with topcoat (Rustoleum Olive Drab Camo).

I think it looks sorta' like snakeskin, but I love it 'cause it fits the Low Buck look I am going for on this bike...Now I am gonna paint a name on the bike's tank in Red with a fine White outline...I am thinking "Whisker Biscuit" or something funny like that...ideas???

Okay, the table goes as follows: Took 2x4s and made frame. Nailed thick wood wall paneling to that for the top. Made a border out of other trim wood and placed pennies to spell Texas Hold Em and placed "famous" card hands around the player positions. everything was attached with liquid nails first then used a product that is a pour-on urethane to fill table up to and over trim rails. It looked great the first summer but after a winter in an unheated loft in a garage, it cracked everywhere. Actually though, alot of people have said they like the cracks so that is how it stays for now...

    hijack on:

people pay big bucks to have these shattered glass tables made, my father finished a mansion a few years ago that was littered with them. its so simple to do..... 3 plates of glass stacked, take a punch and hammer to the center plate. it shatters, but the top and bottom plates are still intact. the only thing you can see is the middle shattered glass.

    hijack off.
