leak from cam chain adjuster !!!!!!!!!!!

    Well just noticed a drop just about to drop off the tip of my cam chain adjuster is this a concern.

    Mine leaks from time to time too. I think I'll replace it this winter when I'm going over everything.

    Lay a Wrench or a Socket on the Tensioner End-bolt.

    Make sure it's good and tight.
    There's two Springs in there that would like to get out!

    Isn't the 1100's tensioner on the FRONT of the motor? It could be coming from somewhere else and just running off there; like maybe the tach gear housing?

    No it just dripping from the tip the rest is clean,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    There is a plug on the end of the tensioner that hardens and cracks, leaking oil. You can replace the plug, or clean it up and put some black RTV sealant on it.
