Hi everyone and Happy New year. Now that my '82 750 seca engine head has been put back on and the bike starts and idles well I' ve turned my attention to the Atari poor night visibility. I've opened the cluster and found these 158 bulbs. The tach and speedo bulbs are shaded so it's no wonder it looks so dim at night. So my question is what intensity should I be looking for with led bulbs, beam angle, etc so I can give the atari a more up-to-date look.
    Thanks

Start a conversation with Chacal. He carries LED bulbs that suit the purpose.

I'll second that idea. With so many LED manufactures, my observation has been they are definitely not created equal. Some advertised "automotive replacement bulbs" are simply too bright while others are poor in certain light conditions. I purchased some for auto gauges awhile back and they looked horrible. I also purchased a flashing red LED brake light bulb designed for a motorcycle for my wife's bike. Looked great in the garage but I'm glad I rode behind her that day, you could barely tell when she hit the brakes. Buying from Chacal you'll know you're getting the right bulbs as he's more than likely done the legwork for you.
