I've been looking all over for this. I've read about fixtures to level the carbs for checking the floats, but I can't find a photo anywhere. Does someone have a photo or description laying around? Thanks!

I use a Brick Layers "String Level"

    Hardware Stores have them.
    3-1/2 Inch Bubble Level.

I use my bench vise, (padded with cardboard) and a 6" torpedo level or a couple of the little string levels like Rick's talking about.

As for fixtures, members have buit various varieties; a plywood stand with adjustble feet, a PVC pipe rack, etc.

DIY carb stand FTW, bay-bee. Made one up for Robert last Christmas, and he reported having problems with the carbs not wanting to stay put (mine worked fine -- go fig) so he went and adapted his with threaded inserts and rubber clamps.

I too use a torpedo level for checking the setup.
