I just bought a 1982 Seca 750, and the seat is ratty. The guy just glued a piece of vinyl over the area you sit on. I was wondering if anyone had a seat or cover - cheap. I am going to check around some of the local places to see about getting it upholstered. I saw a seat on a '93 Seca II I really liked, it was a one piece that looked like a two piece.(cruiser style) I was thinking about making one myself, but I am not that great with vinyl. I have done a few snowmobile & car seats, but nothing this small. I can get by for now with what I have. If I can find a cover or seat cheap enough, that would be better.

I second B&H Seatcovers which is Carvall's link. I got a X seatcover from them and it fit perfectly.

Let us know what you think. I picked up a pneumatic stapler to install mine. Worked like a charm and didn't take that long.

If you haven't covered a seat before, spray adhesive to get it to stick to the foam is a must. Let me know if you need anything, and I can walk you through it.

Before you iinstall the new cover, check out www.diymotorcycleseat.com as well as the Oct edition of Motorcycle Consumer News' article on DIY seat re-construction. You will be able to make a better seat than OEM.
