As title, anyone in the UK got a complete or in bits UK speedo, the km and kmph on my Japanese import is a bit of a pain, in many ways. I expect the gears in the odometer, faceplate and calibration of the needle will be different, if I have to perform surgery to get it to work I will.
    Thanks,
    Huw

I don’t believe internals are different. The face has the difference.

I’ll looks to see if any of mine are kilometers…… I USED to have a set— not sure if I still do.

A Canadian set would have it too

The odometer will be different, since I believe the wheel drive is the same?
My speedo full scale deflection is 180kmh, or. If it was marked on, 112mph. What do the US ones have on there - 85mph?
The UK ones are 120, which is close enough and may be adjustable anyway with just a change of face.
If the wheel gearbox is different I could get away with a change of face, I really need to get the odometer correct.

Ok, didn’t think of the odometer part——-

I’m away today and much of tomorrow and Sunday, but I’ll scrounge through my stuff

So I did some googling, and eBay searching. It seems the US clocks, in mph, go to 85. Given the Maxim (mine is a midnight maxim), was never a UK bike, I either need a US or Canadian version - presumably they had a more sensible speed limit?
So am I looking for Canadian clocks only?
