Hello all, Long time viewer first time poster. :D nice to meet you.

my header pipe is rattling because its loose due to a bolt that was holding it on that had snapped.. now there is only one bolt holding the header on and the screw is broken off inside..
another thing im curious about... it appears the screw comes from inside the engine and the bolt is out side of the engine, so how do i get a new screw threw there?
    thanks for any help

usually they snap with anough of a lip that you can vice grip it on. its threaed on both ends with a nut on the outside. so it threads into the motor, youd put your header on, and then nut it. i suppose if its flush, youd have to tap and die it. careful though..... these motors are very picky with drill bits with the metal and then hot and cold setup. start by working on getting the old one out, and then going to dealer.... or chacal first to see if you can get new ones. imho.... but im sure rick o matic will be on here soon to tell you a better way! :) good luck.

Those are threaded studs that screw into the head. If the broken one left you enough of a stub, gently heat the area around the broken stud, get a good clamp on it with vice-grips and slowly turn it out.

If it's broken off flush, your best bet is to either dissolve it out http://www.chemical-supermarket.com/pro ... ductid=574 or pull the head, take it to a machine shop and have them "burn" it out with their EDM. The aluminum is very soft and it's very easy to make a big mess of things trying to drill it out yourself.
