low idle on my XJ750 Seca

    Ok, I've had the bike for 2 yrs now. I have ridden it in Eastern PA, Western Arizona and Southern Maryland.

    The gentleman I bought the bike from had it in Nebraska and Georgia and PA.

    He said to me the bike has always been "cold natured". It doesn't liek to run when it's cold.

    I rode the bike like that until I got to Arizona with it. While there the bike ran GREAT!!!! except...when i first start it.

    The bike will not idle on it's own when it's first started. Not with or without the choke on.

    What should the idle and the fast idle be set at, in RPM?

    I wonder if the idle being low is what is causing the problem.

    The bike has been rejetted several times, by the previous owner. It has had after market and oem jets installed and none of that has fixed the problem.

    Any advice?
