I have a mac 4 into 1 exhaust, it looks like you can take the baffle out, there is a retaining screw at the end of the pipe. I tried once, it move a little bit but I didn't want to ruin it. Has anyone every done this?

I could remove the baffle from my Yoshimura header. It was VERY loud! I don't think you'd want to run the bike without the back pressure the baffle creates either.

I recently purchased from MAC their competition baffle. I didn't really like the tinney sound of the non-fiberglassed-packed original. It was $40.00 shipped (ordered online through their website), uses a straight-through fiberglass packed tube, it is a bit louder and sounds more like a Kerker. I just ordered #122 main jets, the 124s I had with my homemade baffle are now too rich (this baffle was too loud).

    desmotom,
I had a 4-into-1 MAC like you are refering to. I just removed the holding screw and use a pair of vise-grip pliers to pull the baffle out. You will have to grab that inner lip of the baffle and twist and pull hard and it comes out...eventually! Good luck! >PD<
