You will need a bar mounted MC of a twin disk bike, preferably a Yamaha. A new peace of brake hose to run between the MC and splitter, you my possibly have to find a different splitter that will run three hoses. I think XJ4ever maybe able to supply you with an adapter witch allows you to join a proper brake hose to the original splitter. All so the mount for the front break leaver is cast into the handlebar controls, witch means if converting to a proper bar mounted MC this mount gets in the way. The only two solutions are grinding the mount of or buy a set of maxim bar switches witch im pretty sure are a direct fit. I would all so recommend replacing your brake lines with stainless items (if not already); you would already have to replace one so might as well get the rest done while your there.

I have probably missed a few things out but I am sure some one will pick up on it and help you out. I have converted all three of my 750’s to bar mounted MC’S its pretty straight forward and is a worth while mod that if done right improves front braking.

    Hope this helps
