ok guys. i just baught a new chain, and the teeth on the sprocket arent centered on the chain. so, i can either add washers to the sprocket bolts, or torch cut, which is a pain, and move it a 1/4 inch or so. what do you think?

well i drag race for a hobby, i drive a 68 camaro with a 468 in it. ill be ok. but thanks for the concearn. i read up on the yamaha 550, and if i am right it runs the 1/4 mile in 14 seconds, which is pretty quick. this might weigh more than the motercycle due to all the exta wheels. i am currently waiting for my new set of carbs to show up in the mail, and then all i have to do left is hook up my fuel lines, and put new pads and rotars on. i will be ordering the pads and rotars next week.

    What size sprockets front/rear ?
Obviously the smaller tires will change the gearing a bunch.

I only ask after looking at this XJ550 Hill climber for sale, gotta luv his kickstand!:

right now i have the stock front sprocket, and i think a 38, or 40 in the back. it came off the atv. if you look at the pics, i could not fit a bigger sprocket on the way it is. i would have to cut and weld, which i could do, but ill wait to see how i like it the way it is. that hillclimber looks seriouse.
