Maxim-X Another mouth to feed

    Short story is I picked it up today; high back seat and all parts are present and accounted for. low mileage @ 8003 mi & it's been garaged from the beginning.

    Needs to have the old gas dumped, carbs rebuilt/synced/colortuned & it needs a petcock rebuild. Needs a seat cover (Need is a stretch but there's two holes 3/4 the size of a dime on the top of the front section) and the handlebar is rusty. I will be getting SS hose for the brakes.

    Interesting though, the mufflers themselves show bronzish color changes from heat
    and not the headers. I'm sure the headers are double layered so maybe that's why?

    Anything in a can that will get the chrome look back?

    All in all I'm really happy it's in good condition and shouldn't take a whole lot of effort to get into pretty & good running shape.
