    Please help.

Sent my maxim x frame out for powder coating and I"m trying to place the wiring harness back on.

I have the manual but.... It leave a great deal to be desired. The primary problem is in the battery area.

How does the start relay fit it.... The diagram seems to suggest the relay sits upside down with the wires coming overtop of the battery...... Errr?

Anyone have a picture? Maybe including the other wiring mess in the area too?

    Thank you,
    Tony H.

I'll answer you even though I don't have the same bike as you. All I have to offer is just lay out the harness on the bike, you know which end goes to the front, right? anyway, when you get the harness in the area of the battery box it should be appearant where the solenoid goes. Don't know about the Maxim X but there could/should be a rubber holder for the solenoid somewhere around there. If Yamaha followed their past designs. Good luck Tony.

The starter relay (as best I can tell fits to a rubber hanger that slips onto the battery tray between the battery tray and the rear plastic mud guard.

I could fudge it... But... I really want to put it back the way the factory would have...

All anyone would need do is take the seat of and take a snap... Please
