Does anyone have the measurement as to how much fork is to stick out above the top fork clamp? I haven't got a manual yet. Thanks. The bike is a 1983 XS400K.

On the 550 Seca, nothing sticks out; the top of the tube is even with the top of the clamp. I suspect yours should be the same; sliding the fork tubes up in the triple tree was more of a "dirt bike" thing back then.

None of it is supposed to stick out. The tube needs to come flush with the top of the triple clamp.

I set mine 3/4" up out the top. Just to make the stance a little meaner!!!
