I'm going to rebuild Mikuni BS34 carbs for the XJ1100 this winter. Before I do anything on these bikes I like to research & read what I can find or be told about that will help me do it right the first time.

I found this beautiful writeup on the Mikuni BS33 carbs for the MaximX 700 and it looks pretty informative:
    http://mok.fileave.com/mikuni%20carb%20cleaning.pdf

Are the illustrations and instructions in this writeup are the same for the BS34?

    Idears?

    Thanks

That is a really good article. I would do the carbs one at a time.
I came across this last year on 'tinternet.
The guy is Greek but the soundtrack is pretty good. I laughed when he tells you to throw the pliers in the bin!

That's just what I needed to know. I'll follow this procedure,

    :)

Looking forward to getting this XJ1100 nice & pretty (and running pretty) over the winter.
