mikuni carb a/f screw location

    same as the hitachi? right next to idle plunger?

    Yes, it is in the same location on my mikuni carbs (Turbo Seca), front of the carb body, accessible from above in a recessed hole.

    There isn't an idle plunger. There is a "choke" or "enrichment" plunger. a/f screw you are asking about IS the pilot, or idle, mixture screw, in that it ONLY adjust the mixture at idle.

    i meant to say "choke", my bad.

    Thinking about too many things at once.

    Mine still have the brass "plugs" so i will have to drill those out. Thank you for the reply.

    No.....you didn't mean to say "choke"--you meant to say 'enricher'. :)

    ....and yes, you'll need to drill and pull the caps, as you said.

    No i meant to say to choke, thats what yamaha calls it so thats what i call it! I found the thread on removing the plugs so i will follow that.
