mini tach for xj650?

    I'd like to swap a mini speedo and tach for the stock gauge cluster on my bike.

    I emailed mikesxs.com but they didn't know if theirs would work... so I was happy to see several xjs here with their mini speedo 03-0748, and will be ordering one of those.

    However, I'm still not sure about the mini tach. Does anyone have experience fitting one to a 1981 xj650? I'm assuming I'd need the one with cable drive. What's the right gear ratio? Thanks!
