I always had a thought that a lot of a bikes wiring bits and bobs could be stuffed into the back of a light and gauge cluster, especially if some bits and pieces were replaced with discrete components. I mean you could get it all in there probably, remove 80% of the wires running around the frame of the bike.

But I always thought, why stop there? I had an idea years ago of making a minimalist bike (I guess you could call it that), exhaust pipes made so they are integrated into the frame (Frame is the exhaust), engine is part of the frame, depending on the frame type integrating fuel storage into the upper part of the frame (As a supplement to the tank). Bottom of the seat pan has a small airbox built onto it. Monoshock front fork, or forkless bike and a monoshock, mono swing arm (One picture is of a black bike with the fork and rear swing arm I am thinking of it I got the names wrong. For a forkless bike, Google Bimota Tesi 3D or Vyrus M2). Carbon fiber panels. Pretty much use as little as possible, and make what you do use have multiple purposes as well (As many uses as possible for a single part). Anyone heard of anything like this?

Could be very lightweight. But the thought process is, if you have frame pieces that run the length of the bike, why not just use them for the exhaust as well, that reduces the tubing needed. Not necessarily built off an XJ bike, or any bike (maybe a custom build), but just wondering other peoples thoughts.

Note: I have no intentions of making this, just day dreaming I guess. Anyone else had any crazy ideas for bikes? A Unicycle Motorcycle or something maybe? Swing bike motorcycle (That would be so sketchy)?
