Mixture Screw Plug Button

    Here’s my answer to recovering the idle mixture screws after removing the factory installed plugs.

    I had a little trouble convincing the little rubber stopper type to stay in so I tried these ¼” plug buttons instead and they worked really well.

    The first picture shows the plug buttons installed on a XJ550K with BS28 Mikuni carburetors.

    I did have to do a bit more polishing on the button before they could get installed, but I think they look great.
