modified stock airbox

    Iam attempting to modify a stock airbox. I attached a plastic box with a K&N air filter in it. I restricted the airflow as well, as close to stock as I thought i could. [​IMG][/img]

    Looks good. What is the point of the mod? im just curious. Im Bobbing mine now as well and im trying to simplify the bike in ANY way possible. Got any pics at this point? Id love to see em.Mine are in my gallery and over in recent slideshow. The black 82 maxim.

    I have an altered frameon my bob, rigid and I am running pods now. I am just trying to get my idle back to stock and just messin around. My battery is inn the way of the stock box so I had to shorten the whole thing.

    I will be swapping out the motor for an all flat black motor that I picked up with stainless allen head bolts throughout, I also picked up new tires so I will post new pics as soon as I get the swap done with the new airbox.

    Well the altered stock intake box did not fit. Dam back to the $%^$^ pods. Guess I will up the jets and see were i end up.
