modified tail end

    I was wondering if anyone knew if i could slap a more modern tail end on to an 81 550. still trying to figuire out what to do with the rear end of my bike. idoubt you could do it w/out modifying the frame/seat pan but i don't know SH$#t..........buts you guys seem to know what yur doing .

    by the way its a 7" wide trailer fender that I cut down in length

    Impulse, can you show some pics of how you mounted the trailer? Did you happen to lower the bike any or do you still have acres of space between the fender and the tire? Side pics would be cool too. Thanks

    No I didn't lower the bike, and yes there is an large gap between the fender and the tire. I personaly think that it looks better from the back then from the side. I mounted the fender pretty much the same way that the factory one was mounted.

    How about one like this?

    The tailight is an LED (used on trucks) mounted inside an aluminum housing I made out of diamond plating. The fender is made for a boat trailer.
