I was given a Virago 750 wheel. It fits better than the Honda and not much modification.Fitting drag bars next and rear fender.

Very nice! I really like the look of the spokes on these bobbers. Can't wait to see how you finish this off.

It looks like it's comming along nicely.

On a side note, is that seriously a Workmate you've got the bike on?!?!? How did you get it up there and isn't it unstable?

Looks better. I love the spokes, but that Honda rim was a tad too bitty.

I use workmates for everything, best tool ever invented. The bike is clamped to the top, we lifted it up there, it doesn't weigh much.

I'm not a huge fan of spoked wheels but I have to admit they fit the application well, great job, any plans for mounting the electronics?

Hello there, I'm a new member. Its been quite sometime looking for help for my Maxim 700. I watched eflat7's Maxim 650 Chopper at youtube and it was really over top nice. I was wondering if I can do the same with my maxim700.? Where can I get a frame or how do I modify the original frame? Can you give me tips or specifications on how to do this?

The electronics and battery are going in a lunch box under the seat.

The best thing to do is evaluate your skills. To alter the frame requires good skills and tools. Try the chopper underground build threads for info and pix.

spokes look good, but I hope you don't plan on dropping down to drums...

I want to ditch my shaft drive, go with spokes, and add a disc to my rear someday...
