    Names Gav, from Cumbria in England have got a 1991 XJ900F I bought years ago for my winter bike sold it then missed it so i bought it back.

    She's a bit rough not been looked after but starts every time and is fun to ride.

    Will post a pic once I take a decent one.

    If I understand correctly you got your same bike back? That is pretty awesome, hopefully the guy/ gal that had it kept up on the maintenance . . . .

    I bought it from our local Yamaha dealer as a trade sale, serviced it and changed the oil in the shaft drive then ran it through a few winters.
    I sold it to a mate who was going to trike it, he then rang me after a couple of years and offered it back as the taxman chasing him for money.
    The old girl was still parked where I had left it in his garage all be it with flat tyres and knackered battery,she hadn't moved an inch.
    I put some fuel in put a new battery on and she started...happy days.
    So far I've put a fazer 600 front master cylinder on it and changed all the oil & filters and that's all I've done.
    60000 mile on the clock and bright yellow paint it does stand out a touch.
