If I live long enough to build another bike, it will look like this. I would cut the bars in half, but other than that it's perfect. It's on u-tube but I don't speak da lingo

These /\ seem to turn adequately with even MORE rake !!
I'm sure they compromise handling "at speed" , but they're not built for that. I'd want the fork professionally engineered - not homebrew guesswork.

Out of curiosity, any of you top three guys ever spent any time on a long bike? It's true you don't do "twisties" at 80 mph, but so what? I had a cb750 with 10" of trail for 6 years. Wasn't any harder to turn than any other bike, just took more room.

I just answered. Nothing meant by my response, Trikes (mostly) handle normal to good like this. The trail is what determines the front ends handling properties. Even a front end like this can be set up with zero trail. 10 or 12" of trail doesn't mean you have to put both hands on one bar and hang off that side of the bike to turn it. Different types of bars will provide more leverage also. There is a stupid long bike making a hard turn on u tube, I'll see if I can find it.

Man, this site really lives up to it's negative rep! Parking around here is NOT like San Diego. We also have the ozarks in eastern Okla. SL kid, I don't suffer fools at all. You're just an ass. This bike is in europe, and I'm sure HE doesn't think it's a peice of junk. You sound like just another squid with more money than brains. If the mods don't ban me I'll put up that video when I find it. Mojo

Are you implying that Oklahoma is nothing but straight roads for miles? I think you're confusing Oklahoma and Kansas :D

We have plenty of twisties. Just stay out of the panhandle...

Most beautiful trike I ever saw was this one.

Seriously. I rode the tires off of that thing, and they were the old solid rubber tires.

Oklahoma is paradise compared to Kansas.

Homebuilt trikes can be cool, and the one at the top of the page is (it's just not beautiful to look at).

    Mojo,

Don't take our comments to heart.....everyone is just stating their view of this contraption......I agree with K-moe.......the bike is not a head turner by any means......the bike just does not serve any useful purpose....I would not take that bike over 40 mph.....but than again that is just my opinion.....

I am not a big fan of bobbing these bikes either......the Seca's or Maxim's just look good in stock condition.....for a cruiser bike....

With regards to the original pic, that road looks like the road coming out of Tijuana heading down towards the playa ( beach ) where the bullfight ring is....but then again, that road is in too good of shape for Mexico....

If you don't want opinions, state with the post "This post is for my personal edification only; please don't post here unless you agree %100 with me".

I really don't think you want that, it's the differences that make the world so interesting. I doubt anyone is trying to personally offend you, they just don't see trikes the same way as you. Some like them, some don't. I think they have a use for people who are handicapped or have medical disadvantages (I know some vets that use them), but even that's kind of a mixed issue.

As for our "reputation" for being negative, that's just too funny, and entirely subjective.

The "longest" bike I had was a V-Star 1100 with 6" extended forks and a 205 - 60 Car Tire (square profile). It didn't handle, you begged and coaxed it to turn. I'd rather ride something neutral and intuitive.

There's NO way a home-brew trike with a 75* steering head is going to steer confident and precisely on the first "build".

I rode a CanAm Spyder on a test ride, and it was fun but so weird compared to riding a motorcycle.

Hey Guys, Kilted, I didn't go off on him for disagreeing. He's entitled to his opinion. He's also got just as much right to post it here as anyone else. I personally don't give a rats arse about the opinion of others anyway concerning me or what I like, do or say. There's the bike, I like it, I love rats, if somebody else doesn't ...fine.

This trike has all I hate to see on a modified bike: extra-long forks, car tires, ape-hangers, car horns, very short or no mufflers (that I can see), etc.

I wouldn't spend a dime on a mod like this. But if one would like to, go ahead
