So, I've been looking at m/c covers...and they all look pretty cheap and overpriced. My question is this: would a few old bed sheets work just the same for winter storage inside my garage??
    Thanks for any input

I always cover mine with sheets. I also cover anything exposed like my exhaust, carbs, etc. then toss a sheet over the front and one over the back. But i still have a dusty bike when i uncover it for the spring. But it protects it from the really icky icky

I have a car cover that was given to me that fits over the side car and bike when they are together. Sidecar only when not bolted together. I also have a white protective cover that came on a new sofa. Anything to keep the big chunks off!

    cool, thanks all!
I was worried about condensation/mold and mildew...but since none of that was mentioned I think I'll be OK.
    Thanks.

An old bed sheet will breath unlike a plastic cover. Assuming you are not storing outside, a sheet should be fine.
Outside storage begs for a plastic cover but you need to open it up regularly to wash and re-wax everything (to protect it).
