    Hey guys and gals,
I haven't been around for awhile.
I'm looking for some info and hope someone here might be able to help.

There used to be a post on here somewhere that had a downloadable self taught go at you own pace motorcycle repair course.
I had it downloaded at one time but have since lost it.
Do any of the old timers here remember what I'm talking about? And if so where can I find it.
It may have just been a post that someone had I'm not sure.
I tried searching for it with the search option with no luck. Hope someone can help me out.

Hope everyone is doing good and ready for another riding season. Keep the shiney side up.
    Thanks
    Richardi

    That's the Link ...

The first thing that Online Course teaches you, is Extreme Anal Retentive Tool Storage.
Empty your Tool Box and nail all your tools to the wall. Then, you'll have space in the Drawers of your tool box for all those things you think you are going to need, again, sometime soon.

Pretty soon, you'll have so much stuff saved in your tool box, that you won't be able to shut it ... and, are going to have to bring-in a chest of drawers for all the overflow.

Plus, it lets you see some of the really beat tools you got that should be updated to the latter half of the 20th Century!

    They ain't mine.

I can't leave tools out like that!
People around here think a wooden handled screwdriver is like a Swiss Army Tool.
Chisel, dig, scrape, pry, hammer ... all in one.

When I'm not here ... the Boss closes the boxes, hides the keys and leaves-out the tools I should have retired ages ago.

There's another site, but I don't know how to hyperlink...

    Anyway, search 'JP7'.

Should get you to his trike page, and away you go from there.

English guy, bit eccentric, but huge amounts of really interesting stuff on motorcycle maintenance and an awful lot more.

Use this to help you understand Yepper: BB code Just copy and paste in the page address located above in the lower tool bar and surround it with the appropriate tags. This site uses BB code and others use VB code that you don't have to be concerned with here.

Thanks man, appreciate that. Glad you posted, cos I'd forgotten about this thread.

I actually took a look at his site again, and I wish I'd done so before I recommended it.

He's rather unkind about US foreign policy, to put it mildly. For anyone who can shoulder that though, there's a hell of a lot of good content on bike repair etc etc.

If anyone went there, and was offended, I didn't mean for that.

    Thanks again Scrape.

No problem yepper, and if you need more help just post in this thread or PM me. I respect peoples opinions and I also have them myself. It's the bike content that we are most concerned with on this site and I'm sure most of us have thick skin and are use to some things on the net that may not be our "cup of tea" or belief. Take for example the fact that, on a lot of bike sites, there are pics of half dressed women. Now that offends me...that is, when my wife see's me looking at them when they are displayed on my monitor. I am not responsible for the things that pop up when I surf the net. 8O
