The underside of my right-side muffler is rusted through in a couple small places, and if I can find a cheap replacement, I'd do it. I did find a guy who has an old 920(?) Midnight Maxim, with the black mufflers, but can those be fitted to my 650? If not, would they be impossible to modify? They have some rust on them, but not rusted through. Would I have to put both of them on, instead of just replacing the one? Do they come apart from the rest of the exhaust pipes?

    Thanks!

Most mufflers have the same diameter inlet, if not you can use a reducer.
As far as removing them from the other bike goes, you'll have to look and see if they are slip ons or welded.
