    Notice how the valve cover on the '81 models were NOT painted black.......this is correct, by the way, for 550's and 750's only.

    Man...that bites. It's not that far from me and I'd love to own one that clean. Good tires, nice seat. Has the yellow fog light that I like. Handle bar covers, clean forks. I can't be collecting bikes until I get out of this townhouse.

    Now I'm confused. (wouldn't be the first time)
    My '81 Seca 750 has unpainted rims and satin aluminum fork sliders.
    Did all '81 's have black painted rims and black fork parts?
    maybe a mid-year change? Just curious.
    My bike came with alot of chrome dress-up parts too.
