    Just tried to upload a few pics to my gallery, but got a message saying I'd exceeded my quota, so I'm posting a link to my pics on FLICKR. Figured it was time to share what my Maxim-X looked like. 8)
    The slide show button is just a couple lines under the shopping cart on the top right side.
    Hope you guys like em.

    Doesn't work for those of us that don't have Flickr accounts.

    Hey shnuffy, funny you should ask, I still have my original bill of sale from Inglis.
    I never throw anything (especially bike related) away.
    Now that I look at the bill I remember it was classed as an "Out of stock" sale. That means that the bike was still in the crate when I got it, but it was a deal where the bike was misplaced at Yamaha's warehouse in Japan.
    So I went in and made the deal in 86 and picked up the bike on April 25 87
    which was 25 years ago this past saturday. I always was bad for anniversaries, ask my wife!
    List price was $4649.00 (Canadian) but eneded up with it out the door (after discount) for $3575.60 which included a 10% off card for the first year.

    That is awesome! Is she still running well? Any surprises/stories after 25 years owning it?

    I'm glad (as I'm sure you are) that you still have it. My dad had a 1960-something Triumph in England that he majorly regrets selling (back in the 60's).

    Not running at present, but it's one of those back burner projects where I'll start doing a bit at a time. For now I'm happy to do my daily riding on this, 2004 1200 Bandit. This is a pic from when I rode it to Indy for the MotoGP the last couple of years;

    You're the first one (I can remember) that can say that...
