I could understand a passage being blocked in one carb if that carbs mixture screw was a large number of turns out or in , but all 4 carb mixture screws have to be around 7 turns out , with yics tool installed and colortunes installed in two carbs at once seven turns out is where the mixture is correct, so is unlikly that all 4 carbs passages are blocked.

I have cleaned out carbs according to forum readings on this site.
do you think maybe that I have aset of carbs of a non yics model with differnt pilot jets ?
this bike has never run right since I bought it so maybe has wrong carbs
    on it?

    thanks simon

It is possible, then, that you may have a set of carbs on it from a 650. The bodies are the same, but the jets are different size.

Model Fuel main Fuel Pilot Air Main Air Pilot
    XJ750 120 43 80 205
    XJ750 Police 118 43 80 195

    XJ750E-II 102(2/3)

Hmm... no matter what I do, it won't come out right. If you need me to translate it, I will try. Basically, tell me me exactly which bike is yours and what the numbers are supposed to be. Of course, if you're really good at figuring out spacings and can recreate the table, lucky you! :)
