My first GoPro test on the XJ650 Maxim

    For anybody considering one of these cameras, do it. I've considered buying one of these for some time, and I don't know why I didn't get one earlier.

    It was almost 60 degrees here in Michigan today, so I did the first test with the camera on my Maxim. Link below. It's not much of anything special. It's just a short ride through the countryside. I was most impressed with the audio and the lack of wind noise, for the most part. Above 50 or so you can tell the camera begins to focus on the wind noise over the engine, though.

    I don't plan on buying a vid camera for my helmet but nice vid none the less.

    I hope U-turns are not a part of your daily ride, cause one day you would get hit.

    Right. I have a pair of kevlar-lined leather gloves, but I couldn't find them. I have since recovered them.

    They aren't part of my daily ride, but I have to do them quite frequently at work. They really aren't any more dangerous than a left turn.
