well, i figured this would happen. had the bike for 2 days, its not even on the road yet, and i start tinkerin.... so this is what i ended up with. the stock turn signals stuck out waaaaay too far, and the chrome was pretty cheesy looking. then i remembered i had my turn signals off my previous bike, a 99 YZF600R, laying around upstairs. some aluminum bending and cutting, some drilling, and some ingenuity, and heres what i ended up with!

Here's the rear signals and license plate bracket before:

    and here's after:

yes, the garage is a mess... sorry :) ive got an 07 raptor 700 on the other side thats in pieces right now, so organization is second (or third, now) in line. soon to come is highway pegs, then complete forward controls. then drag bars w/risers. and im sure the list will get even bigger soon :)

as far east as you can get in michigan 43.027407,
    those look pretty good....

are they 3wire running lights or 2wire turnsignals?

im going to do the same thing (only different) on my 900rk. the turns are WAY out there and while the separation is good for better visibility, they just stick out too far...

im going to put some of Chacals signals on it and bring them in about 1/2 inch...

i like the metal work on the plate mount....

the turn signals on the rear or my bike are off the front of my YZF, and they're 3 wire. The front signals on my bike are off the rear of my YZF and they're 2 wire.

i had to extend the wiring on the YZF turns for the rear on my bike about 10 inches. the front were perfect, just fed them into the top holes on the headlight housing and plugged directly into the existing wiring for the front turns.

If you flip them around and put the three wire up front you can have them as running lights and turn signals. I don't know the laws in your state but I believe amber running lights in the rear are illegal here in Mi. So you want them in front. Unless you don't plan on usung the running lights then it doesn't matter.

Oh btw they look a ton better and very nice job on the mounting bracket for the rear. You gotta love free mods..
