My second ride

    I was surfing the net when I found this pic.
    I had one just like this sans windscreen.
    It was my second bike and I bought it for the colors.
    I know, not the rational move but I was young.
    It was a cruiser and a half, the word sled comes to mind.
    But, I rode it like I stole it.
    Anyway one year I was taking it to the garage for the winter, that one last ride.
    Cold and crisp I hung it out a bit far on those cold hard tires and lowsided it into a drainage ditch.
    Ah the memorys

    Still that bike looks real sharp today, still got the side cover and manual.

    As do the original owners of untold thousands of Seca 550s and early 650 Maxims. And everyone wonders why the side covers disappear off these bikes...

    Nice looking bike. Amazing how it does look a lot like a maxim
