well thanks guys for help i purchaced the 80 xj650 with 5,000 miles on it.
i was the 650 -750 witch should i keep guy. and with all your help i have learned much i cleand carbs, rick thanks. new jets and gaskets, new plugs and new caps. its is runnung great it sounds very fresh.
i havent done the plug chop yet i will start tomarrow but it idles right on and has lots of zip.
also yesterday i took the hole front end from a 82 seca parts bike and swaped it.
i love the way it handles and i got dule disc now , i also put on the black headlight frame and kept the chrome headlight bucket from maxim.
and i installed the seca turns, witch iam going to get some aftermarket later. i did change tripple t and all.
i installed some stock exhuast of cl and they are nice but iam going to get 4 into one later. and pods.
it reminds me of my old gpz. the way it handles with flat bars and seca front end.
iam going to start to trick it out now.
