Is there anyone with transmission knowlegde that would be willing to help me with my 1100 Transmission. I can do alot of things but this kinda is out my experiance level. I'm more of a carb guy and tuner. I would be willing to trade time or barter something. I live in St. Paul and have a nice large shop to do this in. let me know I can work around your schedule.

    Thanks
    MN

I would help buy I live in NC, its a littls far away. Look on the XS11.com site and search for the trans fixes, if you can take carbs apart and tune them you will have no problems fixing the trans.

Its something about gears and me we don't get along so good. I guess I don't understand how the gear box works to make sure its right. The first time I did carbs well.......... It was the 6 times on and off that got me. Don't want to go there with this one.

Don't let the fear of never having done it stop you. There is always a first time.
Read through this article first, then decide if you want to try it.http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5090
We all have trouble the first time, thats OK, there are many on this forum who can help you. If you have the tools and patience to repair carbs, you can fix the trans just as easily.
