Need 82 XJ750 Maxin 2 up seat

    I am looking to replace the 2 up seat on my 82 XJ750 Maxim. I was thinking about just reshaping the terribly ugly 2 up that is currently on it but wanted to see if anybody here had one they might want to part with. I just want something that sits a little lower instead of having 6 inches of foam between me and the bike. Thanks

    I've got a stock seat with a couple of tears in it that you could use to experiment on so that you have your original to fall back on if you don't like the results. I'm looking for $25 + actual shipping.

    I don't know if my old seat is interchangeable it's off of an 81 xj650 Maxim but reshaping is easy. Pull out the staples peal back the cover and a sawzall or electric carving knife makes it pretty easy. I took about 3" out of mine on the front and left the rear foam alone. Then just restretch the vinyl and restaple.
