Need a spare 12v and gnd conection for my tach..

    So at last I tried the electronic FZ600 tacho that (after much swearing)I shoe-horned into the XJ550 cluster. I figured I would be able to pick-up the required GND and 12v in the headlight shell but it does seem that simple. In the end just to test it I connected to the PO light connector and lo - it works ! The tach signal is soldered into the right hand coil prmary (grey wire) so I could also pick up the 12V from under the tank or even back to the fuse block but I have no spare fuse ways (should have thought harder about that one..). If anyone with an encyclopedic knowledge of teh 550 seca wiring has a thought please let me know...

    The signal circuit should have amps to spare for that. If not, then you can add a dedicated fued circut direct to the battery.
