Need an engine. Cheap or Free Anyone?

    Need any engine. Not picky anything xs,xj.seca. Only thing is i need it cheap or free something unwanted. As long as its not blownup and can run then ill take it. Iam in MA.

    Depending on how far you are can come and pick it up.

    I see your still looking for an engine. I'm never going to use that 81 650. Shipping is way to much so see if anybody is driving out that way from Minneapolis for the holidays. You might get lucky

    I live south of Baltimore. Its an 8+ drive from Boston.

    If you rented a U haul you could cart away the 82 650 Maxim rolling chassis with engine.
    Its a lot easier to roll an engine on a frame than carry the engine.

    The only thing wrong is that the trans is stuck 1st/neutral.
    That can be fixed by flipping the bike over and taking off the oil pan and removing the debris. Long term you should fix the trans. If I had known that a couple of months ago I might have tried to fix it and sell it.

    I rode this thing home from 5 miles away in 1st gear.

    I have pilfered some valve shims but I have a complete set of 8 just not the correct ones. I did record what shims were in the parts bike when I took them out.

    You can cart it away for free.
