A concrete cinder block got dropped on my caliper piston. Don't ask how. You know the old saying, S__T happens?

Well, I am appealing to all to see if anyone might have either an old piston or caliper laying around that you would like to sell.

Well I think we'd like to hear that story! If no one here has one partsnmore.com has them for $29 USD. listed under the XJ650 chassis items. I am pretty certain the 550 and 650 have the same piston. Some her may have the cross reference and can check.

According to the Yamaha parts site the caliper piston kits have different part numbers. The kit includes the piston dust seals etc.

The seals are significantly different in the diagram, so I doubt if the pistons are interchangable. Also, entirely different mounting system for the caliper.

You might be at the mercy of the stealership on this one.
