Need Help stripping to frame

    Ummm im just not sure how to disconnect the shaft drive so i can drop the motor, i remembered reading a comment on this site not to touch this one bolt and im not sure which it is and i dont want to ruin anything so whoever can answer this as soon as possible that would be great

    Remove the 4 flange bolts inside the rubber boot. Theres a spring type fastener holding the boot in place. Get that off & pull the boot back to expose the flange bolts. 12mm

    those bolts are real tight, use a stick through the wheel against the swingarm

    Or, remove the punkin and pull the drive shaft out of the u-joint. That just slides into the spines, there's no c-clip. Pull it out and you're done. That's how I do it if I can't get the bolts on the U-joint to let go.

    Actually, some driveshafts DO have a wire clip that harnesses the driveshaft to the yoke/crossjoint/u-joint.........
